  • Episode 1: Front Entrances

Podcasts Hosts: Terah Kathryn Collins, Lorrie Webb Grillo, Ellen Schneider and Ro Rusnock

    Recorded: August 27, 2024

    Show Notes:

    • Hallways and Staircases can be extreme in character and need to be balanced and enhanced to channel a healthy flow of Ch’i.

    • When deciding which art, mirrors or light fixtures to decorate your hallways, consider the width and height of your hallway. We want you to feel comfortable walking through and not constricted in any way.

    • Stairways create a waterfall of energy flowing downwards and if your stairway is facing your front door, that means your precious Ch’i is flowing out of your home. In most homes, it is exacerbated by having the artwork on the stairway wall flowing downward also, creating a second waterfall of energy flowing out of your house. We give some wonderful examples of how to mitigate this challenge.

    • In these two areas of our home we want to slow down the fast moving Ch’i so that you have a greater sense of peace and tranquility in your home.

    • Our new series begins on the Bagua Map. Go to WSFS.com and go to “free material" to see Lorrie Webb Grillo’s Bagua explanation. It is a short brief video of how to place the Bagua Map over your home and then you’ll be prepared for the next series.

Thanks to Brian Collins for our fantastic intro and outro, and to show producer Amy Chini for pulling it all together.

  • As Essential Feng Shui practitioners we acknowledge and rejoice in having both seen and unseen helpers walking the path of life with us. We’d like to thank two extraordinary helpers with this podcast: Brian Collins and Amy Chini.

You may recognize Brian’s voice in our opening credits introducing us and the Western School of Feng Shui.  Brian is an actor, on-screen and voice-over, as well as a radio personality.  Not only did he offer his commanding voice to introduce us, but he’s also been instrumental in helping us with technical issues and on-air rules of engagement.  Thank you, Brian.

Amy Chini wears many hats at the Western School of Feng Shui, and she has the brilliance, unstoppable energy, and style to carry them all.  A creative influence, a can-do person and now the producer and techno-genius behind the Feng Shui Decoded podcast and social media, Amy is the person we ask if it can be done, and she figures how to do it.

We couldn’t do this without them!
